Founded jointly in August 2016 by Zhuzhou Zenpon Industrial Technology Co., Ltd. and Mao Zongqiang, a leading domestic hydrogen energy expert in China, Hunan Zenpon Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd. is a high-tech new energy enterprise integrating design, research & development, and manufacturing,with hydrogen fuel cells as its core business.
The company boasts strong technical capabilities and has introduced an array of advanced professional equipment for hydrogen fuel cell production and testing, including Japan-origin horizontal 4-axis machining centers, Japan-origin 5-axis machining centers, infrared laser cutters, ultraviolet laser cutters, laser welding machines, fuel cell stack assembly presses, injection molding equipment for metallic bipolar plate sealing, 10kW & 120kW fuel cell test benches, precision CCM coating machines for membrane electrodes, ultrasonic spraying machines, compression testing machines, and other sophisticated devices.
Since its establishment, the R&D team has focused intensively on the development of metallic bipolar plates. The team has overcome multiple key technical bottlenecks covering die forming, precision welding, gas sealing, anti-corrosion coating and other core technologies. Several high-performance metallic bipolar plates have been independently developed, which have passed practical operational verification and gained recognition from authoritative overseas institutions. The company holds full independent intellectual property rights for its core products, with more than 20 patent applications filed and 15 patents officially granted.
